Below is my example.

When I was a teenager working odd jobs I liked the idea of being a "Jack of all trades". Fast forward 10 years, I was living in New York City working 3 different poorly paid jobs barely able to afford my rent every month. One of my teachers reminded me about the ending of the saying - "Jack of all trades, master of none". That summer I decided to take a course on how to be a language teacher. 

It's been 27 years since I took that course and I'm still teaching English language classes. But I have also been true to my desire to be a "Jack of all trades" in that I've had quite a variety of jobs in my field from classroom teacher to teacher trainer to examiner, among many others. I have worked in many different environments, but most of them connected to education. I have also worked with a wide variety of people.

The skills necessary for this job are: a full understanding of the systems of the English language, methodology, course and lesson design, how to use online tools, among many others. Throughout my career I have participated in training courses and workshops in order to keep updated in my field. I look forward to learning more about online learning.
